Greektown Casino Expansion in Michigan

Greektown Casino owners in Michigan had recently started construction of a permanent casino complex. The new projected expansion is expected to be worth four hundred seventy five million and will includes a new hotel, parking garage and a gaming area expansion.

The casino, which is famous for its Mediterranean theme, is presently offering more than two thousand slot machines and ninety two table games, including roulette, poker and blackjack.

The new hotel and parking facilities are designed to hold a gaming floor expansion, an Entertainment Theater that can accommodate one thousand five hundred seats and a convention room for business conferences. The garage and hotel will be interconnected to the gaming revenues through moving walkways.

A restaurant that offers gourmet foods and a state of the art spa will also be available to guests and clients.

The owners of Greektown Casino, Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians through its chairperson, Aaron Payment, have expressed their hopes that the recent expansion and development of the new casino will create more jobs for the residents of Detroit, Michigan.

The creation of the new hotel and casino will be in the center of Detroit and the additional revenues will support the local programs for the members of the tribe.
